Replacement RV Windshield

I have a 2000 Itasca horizon and have a cracked windshield on the passenger side. I am covered by insurance, where in southern California would be a good place to have it replaced. My insurance company is Canadian
Any recommendations out there

They do a lot of window replacement & repair at Quartzsite Az during the RV show. Jan 18 thru the 26 th . I had a rock chip fixed in mine last year. They told me that they go into town each night and get windshields for the next day install. Not sure what town.

Most any Auto Glass repair shop can do it for you. If they are not used to getting the exact glass needed, just tell them to order one from Coach Glass on the internet.

I have a 2000 Itasca Suncruiser 35U and recently had both windshields replaced. As the originals were Guardian Glass, I called Nancy 1-614-987-1445, at Guardian Glass. They have a network of approved installers across the company. I paid for the glass and installation at the arranged rate as it wasn't an insurance claim, they shipped to the installer who called me when it arrived, then installed the new glass. You could arrange to have it done almost anywhere you expect to be in the near future. Hope this helps. Glen

I had both my sides of my windshields replaced. But it seems who ever does it has to call GUARDIAN GLASS CO. And they shipped to them. So why not just let GUARDIAN do it. I've heard only good things about them and they are nation wide.

2000 Itasca Windshields

For what it's worth, the Guardian price installed was about $1700 and other quotes were all around $2200. The original glass is from Guardian, both the manual numbers and the actual glass on my unit, and the reason I called Guardian glass. A bonus that their price was better. Glen

Most insurance companies in FL, send a mobile unit to your location for replacement. Any deductibles in your plan are also wavered by state law.
