Replacement sliding window latch

I recently placed this inquiry in the Fleetwood Owners thread, but have not received a response. I don't know if these window latches/locks are exclusive to Fleetwood products, or were used by multiple manufacturers.

I had a missile of some sort strike one of the side sliding glass windows in my 2005 Fleetwood Fiesta Class A while on the road this past Sunday. The glass only has a frame on one side, as it is a slider. Mounted on the frame is a latch that got twisted in the incident, but the frame itself is not damaged. All of the sliding windows in my rig have the same style latch. I checked the website for Northwest RV Supply in OR, and couldn't find anything that looked like my latch. Hope someone on here can help. I guess an RV wrecking yard would also be an option.

The glass itself should not be a problem. I was given the name of a local person who will come to my home and measure, cut and install RV glass on site. Thank-you!

If you can locate a part# on it, search here: https://revrvparts.com/window-hardware

US1 and Ray,IN, thank-you for your suggestions and assistance. There is no part number on the piece that I removed, but the links, photos and related part numbers were very helpful. As you pointed out, the damaged metal one on my rig has been discontinued, and replaced with a plastic model, which most of the local RV stores now stock. There is nothing similar in the design, other than the screw holes lining up. The locking mechanism that grabs on to the window frame is also much thinner, so I am concerned about things rattling around. Pelland Ent. makes an exact duplicate to my original, in metal. The only difference is that it is bright red, so I think I will order one of them and just spray it black once it arrives.

Now I have to arrange to get the glass replaced. I'm still undecided whether to file an insurance claim, or pay for it out of pocket.

Thanks again!

I believe that originally is a Hehr design. There were knockoffs made.

Here is one that looks similar in black from RV Designer but I can't tell exactly what your latch mechanism is like. This one doesn't appear to have the same latch at the bottom as yours does.

RV Designer H697 Hehr Window Latch Double Pane - opticsplanet - $13.99

(The reason I thought this to be an original Hehr design is from this document I have in my files ...go to page 26 and see the image of the "Rectangular Architectural Style Latch Replacement")
