Replacement tanks on 03 Holiday Rambler

Have to replace both freshwater and gray tanks. RV mechanic can't locate replacements. Manufacturer no longer makes them. Looking for the specs for these tanks so we can have them custom made. He can remove them to get the info but this will leave us without tanks while they are being made.

Here is a site, no way of knowing if they have what you need until you get measurements.

https://www.pellandent.com/RV-Holding-Tanks

You might be able to get approximate measurements and check prior to removal.

Hi ! Welcome to IRV2! We're sure glad you joined the gang!

I'm surprised that those tanks can't be repaired if you know what material they are made with.

Good luck, happy trails, and God bless!

I repaired the fresh water tank on my previous GMC Motorhome by plastic welding the crack it held up ok for at least 29 years. I plastic welded the black- grey tank that was damaged with at least a 6” crack. It lasted at least 6 years. You must use the same material the tanks are made of. Usually a large soldering Iron will suffice. If it is a major job to remove them and extremely expensive new ones would be a good idea but they can be repaired if they are still in pretty sound condition .

You can view many vids of plastic welding for car bumpers and ....kayaks sometimes they get them very near perfect again with same color rods. Harbor freight has welders .A body shop may weld tanks for you for decent price.

Ameri Kraft will make you tanks that will fit dimensions you need for your rv tanks , just google the name above, there tanks are made of polyethylene (plastic), they do make a Marine one that's thicker , and you can always have your tanks sprayed with same stuff that is sprayed in bed liner.
