Replacing Velvac Mirror Arms

My Thor Challenger has the usual Velvac mirrors found on most Class A's. My problem is that the bottom (magnified) glass on the passenger side mirror is only half visible above the windshield frame. The mirror appears to be sitting too low. I think that replacing the arm with a longer one would help, but I cannot find any replacement parts like that on the Velvac website (which appears to be years out of date on the model lists). Has anyone done anything like this?

I had the same problem as my driver side needed a longer arm. Long story short I had to buy the whole thing and use the 14" arm and am carrying around the rest of it for spare parts.Velvac only does one thing SELL new mirrors and thy did not recognize their dealers as it was the same $ no matter where you bought it.

So what size is the spare arm you're carrying around? And how much was the whole thing if I may ask?

OK, 10 inch is what I already have. I see some MH's around me with longer arms. I'll grab a wrench and a flashlight after dark.....ONLY JOKING!!!

Try for a used one maybe. Try Visone RV Salvage in KY. They may have just the arm you are looking for rather than buying a whole new piece like I did. I didn't think about the used route before we bought the new one.
