Got to add if it has ice maker/water dispenser and in the cold winterize it so the water lines do not freeze.

Mine is off and unplugged. As for winterization, I have reliable power so I put a couple of trouble lights every where that might freeze...use nine lights with 60 watt (old style) bulbs.

Not for me as the rig is stored beside the stick house, on shore power and heat going in it all the time
Been doing it for over 40 years now with no problems with the gas/electronic and now residential units.

If it's not empty, that's reason to leave it on.
Like some others, I switch off the breaker for ours between RV trips. Saves money on electricity, and saves wear and tear on the compressor - win/win.

I'm on a shared 20amp circuit at our storage location, and quickly learned the hard way that we must empty the fridge/freezer and shut it off all the time in storage. I think I would still shut it down for extended (more than a month or so) storage periods if I had more reliable power, but that's just me. (We have also completely disconnected and drained the ice maker lines / system and don't use it at all, ever).
One thing I have not seen mentioned, is that keeping an empty fridge / freezer running is not efficient, and will create a situation where the compressor cycles much more often since you do not have the "cold soaked" contents stabilizing the temperature. Just something to keep in mind.
Regards

This applies to all Fridges, Residential or "RV Type" used in an RV or a "Summer Cottage" or a "Hunting lodge"
If you are not going to use them for a few days.. .Leave on
IF you are not going to be using them for a Few Months.
Turn off, Clean, block the door(s) so they can not fully close (allow ventilation of the cold compartment.
When returning to service months later re-clean,, Close door, Turn on
