Residential Gas Range

I need to replace the gas cooktop and microwave/convection oven in my MH. I replaced the Norcold several months ago with a Haier 4-door bottom freezer residential refrigerator, and we've been very pleased with it.

After the successful fridge swap, my wife has been giving the look of death at the stove. We both lived for nearly all of our adult lives without a microwave oven, and I barely know how to use one lol. With that in mind, I've been contemplating the potential up/downsides of taking the cooktop/microwave/convection oven out (which isn't really a great unit) and replacing it with a decent apartment sized gas range. Something like this:

Has anyone else done this? If we want a microwave again. I'll modify or replace the upper cabinets and put one above the stove. Little details like taking the grates off for travel etc don't really bother me, I'm more concerned about safety and durability.

Thanks for the advice

The orifices for propane and natural gas are different. Be sure you get the correct one.

I see the LP conversion kit comes with it. Good to go.

Other then devising a way to fasten the stove down from moving I don't see why it wouldn't work. Changing orifices isn't that hard once you figure out the markings they use.
Also may want to consider some sort of venting to get rid of excess heat, I see the current cook top has a vent hood over it but not sure if it is actually vented out.

There’s a vent hood. Not much of one, but it vents out side. I might put a better one in if get really motivated and pile into major cabinet work. That’s probably on the horizon because I think a dishwasher is on the list too

This is looking like “the never ending tale”. Good luck with the mods. I’m sure you will like it when you’re done.
