Residential Refrigerator Lock
Has anyone ever seen this sort of refer lock? It works wonderful. I have friends who see it and want one but I can not find it anywhere. I have not contacted Newmar as a resource. Much nicer than some sort of strap. Just one slide to the left and boom...all 3 doors are secure.

It came on the fridge in our 3412. I will look tomorrow and let you know.

I have only 2 doors and this is what came on mine, works very nicely with a slide up and over to the left to lock both doors. Pictures always come in sideways for some strange reason.

I have the lock referenced by the OP on the fridge in my 17 Dutch Star and I think that’s the standard refer lock on all Newmar coaches with residential refers for the past several years. It works fine so long as you keep it lubed up but it can be hard to engage if coach is not level. You may have to push in to get doors lined up.

I love this. It works great. I would like to pass it along to those less fortunate-those that are using straps or tape. I just don’t know where to refer them. You think this was added by Newmar?

Ours is a Whirlpool refer. The pins are adjustable in case it wont latch or comes loose too easily. I think Newmar orders them from Whirlpool with the latch in place. Maybe check Whirlpools website.

I would definitely be interested in a source for the lock. We have a 3 door Whirlpool in the Discovery.
The dealer gave me 2 of the other type with the blue and red colors but I don't quite know how.where to mount them to lock all 3 doors.

The dealer gave me two of those latches but I can't figure out how to install 2 latches to keep all 3 door closed.
Any pics of the 2 latch/3 door installation will be greatly appreciated.

It mounts to the cabinet between the freezer and the upper cabinet. There is a pin or nipple in the top edge of the freezer drawer. There are pins on the bottom edge of both doors. The latch slides right to left trapping the pins of all three, locking them.
