Need to figure out part number for "bimba cylinder"
Probably the original manufacture!

That is too large of a cylinder. Yes I know they say that they are rebuildable but cannot find a rebuild kit. I tried to tear it apart and it's locked solid. I have to believe there is a cylinder that I can find that would work. I have part numbers but nothing lines up, noone can come up with anything.

Interesting. Never heard of bimba. I have a CECO# that's on the base plate but that does nothing either. Here are the numbers I have, it's right off the bracket system Cummins, Jacobs, & CECO, numbers.
Jacobs#020751
Cummins#025613
CECO#3944865
You'd think I'd be able to find something with all these numbers.

We have a 1999 Cummins ISB 275 with a exhaust brake.
Have put over 100,000 miles on the coach on all kinds of roads.
Usually leave it on even at slow speeds.
The Alison 3000 downshifts to "2" which is set by the mfg.
Would not have a heavy DP without this control.
Have worked on the brake which is quite simple. Air operated
from a solenoide which is interfaced with the transmission
control.
Very good system. No problems.

Bimba is probably the largest manufacture of air cylinders. I doubt if Jacobs makes there own cylinders. Would have to go by measurements, probably no cross reference for numbers

Thanks for that info. Someone said to check our local fluid power store they might have something with air activated cylinders. I'll have to check it out.
