According to Google Maps, it's about a 9 hr drive, ~540 miles. That's assuming you live near Little Rock and want to go to Gulf Shores, AL.. about 550 miles or 1,100 mi. round trip divided by your mpg gives you your fuel cost. I would break it into a 2-day drive each way to keep it easy.

When I leave from Mountain View, AR, I usually take the 2 lanes over toward Memphis. Then I catch I55 south. We usually overnight at Jeff Busby campground on the Natchez Trace Parkway. It's free camping and a nice quiet little park. Then we'll continue on 55 and then catch 10 over to Mobile.
Can't comment on the cost, as I'm in a gas coach.

If you're a member of Escapees, they have a really nice park in Summerdale, about 15 miles north of Gulf Shores. It's called Rainbow Plantation. Even if you're not a member, it would still be a lot less expensive than other parks in that area!

I don't know if they will have any sites available this time of year.

Luxury RV is a good park, walking distance to the beach and several nice restaurants.

We have the 3126 in a 40' Phaeton and usually get between 7 and 8.3 MPG depending on how I drive it (normally 63 MPH) w/ Jeep GC towed. Check Gas Buddy app for current fuel diesel prices along your route for your 'best guess'.
Happy travels
