Check the fine print, it's only 100 miles (maximum) for RV's. Or at least it is for all the AAA areas I've checked so far. What region are you in? You mentioned that you travel in Florida and the Carolinas and I just checked those and RV and trailer towing is limited to 100 miles. It's nicely buried though and you have to look for it:
We have excellent service from Good SAMs Club for several years. Had to have my toad towed early this week and no problems. The checked later about my satisfaction with the wrecker company.

I have had Good Sam Emergency Road Service for 4 years and have had occasion to use them once. It was on a holiday which complicated matters, but overall I was pleased and would not own a larger rig without some kind of road service. I have changed many a flat on cars, but I will never attempt to change an RV flat.
