John, check the AC circuit breaker for the A/C. Shut it off even if not flipped and then back on and check. You should have 2 A/C breakers. Some thermostats have a battery that has to be changed every 12 months or you will have insufficient DC voltage to operate but that shouldn't be a problem since you said the #1 A/C hums. Some roof top A/Cs have an inline fuse in the electrical box on the bottom of the unit. Be careful tho as you work on it as you have 120volts coming in.

Best of luck - Richard

Thought about and yep. If the batteries are out of the circuit and 12 v is only coming from inverter/charger. That’s what this forum is all about. Learning from others.

AC Shore OR Generator supply AC to same Main AC Panel

On Gen both #1 and #2 A/C Units get AC Power (#1 hums/bad motor BUT #2 RUNS)....CORRECT?

On AC Shore Power #1 hums and #2 does NOT RUN ---- Correct?

IF YES....
sounds like only ONE Hot Leg (L1 or L2) is leaving the Transfer Switch and only Half of MAIN Panel is being energized (Bus that #2 A/C Circuit Breaker is on is dead...no AC Power)
Transfer Switch ----only 1/2 of relays/contacts OR loose wiring

My '06 Bounder had a separate transfer switch just for the rear AC. It was screwed to the wall in the space behind the load center. Small black box by Intellitec, 3 romex wires running into it. Huge PITA to reach if it failed!
