Roof UV protection

It's time to clean the roof and I was wondering your thoughts on using 303 Marine protectant after a good cleaning with Simple Green. I've used it on my tires with good results.

If your roof is TPO or rubber. it probably doesn't need much uv protection as both materials are used on commercial roofs and last a very long time without anything. It probably can't hurt though.
