I tightened the hose and it seemed to do the trick. When we got home, I looked under there and it was still wet. A little further research and it wasn't the hose. Those trans coolers have two welded holes on top. Mine was leaking. I later discovered there has been a boat load of those trans coolers leaking. Literally a boat load as it was a defective batch, poorly welded, from China. It's the same trans cooler that's been used for years on every Allison.

When I found mine leaking, so was my friends on his 2019 Allegro Bus. Tiffin replaced it and had a pile of them on the floor. Here is a photo. This may not be your issue, but you should check.....it's covered under warranty.

I found mine by cleaning/drying the whole unit and then checking it the next day. The welded holes are on the top. I used my cell phone camera to get a photo. The fluid was puddling and then running off the side and over that hose and clamp, making it look like the clamp was leaking.

Don, I checked the top of my Tranny cooler. It was dry. The drip was at the hose connection. It took about 1 1/4 turns to tighten it.
I lost about 1 cup to 1 1/2 cups.

Heavy equipment and OTR maintenance depts. cannot afford down time due to cheap hose clamps.

Thank you

Glad to hear it. There were so many of those coolers that were bad.

Constant-tension hose clamps even have a torque value = 60 in/lbs.
