Quick check of your AC. Get a quick read meat thermometer (small ones) or an instant read one, and stick it up at the out flow of your A/C and see what the temperature is. Your temp reading should be about 20 degrees or more than outside temp. Also if you are running your A/C on high it's possible it might freeze up due to ice forming on the coils. Also on your fridge. It can take a day or more to cool down to a good temp. If you load it up with a lot of warm food and turn it on it can take longer. Not a matter of amperage but of design of those propane/electric refrig. You can use the same thermometer trick in the refrig.

I think that the reading for the A/C on the output should be 20 degrees less than the input. I use two thermometers, put one in the A/C outlet and the other at the A/C filter input. Should see a 20° drop.
