Should have. My '98 Adventurer did. Stayed in it in the low 20's with no issues

Portable Light

Try placing a portable light in the compartment [60-100 watt]. This will help, especially if you do not run the heater very often while dressing heavily in your camper.

Take off the front vent grill (inside coach) so you can see the furnace.
Check all the ducts to see if any enter through the floor.
If it does, you have heat going into the basement.
I did an additional test on my "A" by placing the remote temperature sensor from my $20.00 digital weather display in the service bay beside the fresh water tank.
It was reading 34 deg. F outside the coach and 36 deg. inside.
I turned on the furnace and the interior went to 64 deg. and the exterior sensor went to 56 deg. so I have now confirmed that my coach is getting heat to the basement.
I will leave the remote sensor there and I can then monitor the basement temperature while travelling during cold weather days.

Our 2003 35U does, pretty sure yours does too. Understand, it only gets heated by the propane furnace. The electric heat pumps or space heaters in the living area will not heat the basement area.
