RV GPS System

Hello everyone. I don't know if I am placing this post in the right place, but can anyone advise of a good GPS navigation system for RVs. I would like to enter the RVs specifications in order to get appropriate routes etc. I used my phones navigation on a short trip. I didnt like the way it took me. Good for a car...not good for an RV..lol

Thank you 2 Stroker. Are there any subscriptions that need to be taken out with the purchase of the Garmin. I'm checking out the site you sent

I use a Garman Dizel 760. It has settings msg for auto, RV and Simi. There are no “subscriptions” to purchase. I had lifetime maps that would can update on line at home.

I also run Garmans’ back up camera through it as well. Works very well.

I have recently purchased the Garmin RV 770 LMT S and think it's a great product. I've had it out on three trips now and I really like the way it directs you to the correct route especially as you driving through cities and multi-lane interchanges. It's excellent as far as I know.

I use a 10" android tablet with gps sensor and run the CoPilot RV app. Copilot will let you enter your sizes and weights for proper routing. Also this setup is less than half the cost of a RV specific gps unit.

Our RV came with the Rand McNally RV specific RVND GPS and it's worked well for us.

Here's a link to their RV dashboard system:

Thanks to all. This confirmed what I was looking at. My husband was leaning towards a Kenwood DNX571TR w/navigation. He was just out voted. Thanks all!
