Hello @ all

I´m new here and my language is not so good.

Can anyone point me in the direction of RV storage in the Atlanta area?
I have a 39 foot motorhome that I´m would like to store rather than build an RV garage if possible. I would prefer indoor storage with
climate control, but covered storage would be the next choice. Lastely, open storage on a hard surface (asphalt) rather than grass/weeds. I´ve looked on-line, find only the yellow pages but can only find boat storage.

Thanks for the help...

Hi AmericanDream,
Welcome to iRV2. See if these places are something you would be interested in:

1. Buford Superior Self Storage 770-872-4832
2. Neiborhood Self Storage 800-671-4912
3. Peco Campers 404-377-8000

None of these are inside. However, if you Google "atlanta RV storage" there are many, many places for you to choose from.

Hi: First of all WELCOME to the best rv forum on the net. Around our area here in east tn. the boat storage places also store rv's. I have seen rv's under covered areas in and around the buford,ga. area. Surely there will be some one to help in the atlanta area.
Again welcome and post often to help us all.

If I was in your situation, I might try contacting some of the commercial real estate dealers in the part of town you want to store in and see what they have available for sale. Chances are, with the economy like it is, there is a vacant warehouse someplace that the owner would like to make a few bucks off of to help pay the taxes.

Gustav, Not suggesting you BUY a building. These people with buildings for sale might have one they would RENT to you for as long as you want it.

If you are looking to stay for a portion of the year, then I would just rent. There is no point in buying a piece of property unless this is going to be a frequent affair. You may not be able to find a place near the airport, but i'm sure there are some industrial building willing to make a few month's rent.
