RV windshield expert recommendation

My windshield has shifted and I would like to get it addressed by a professional who is used to dealing with these types of situations and can fix it properly. I am hoping that someone is able to recommend a professional I can take it to, instead of blindly contacting someone. Another recent post mentioned RV Glass in Greensboro NC. I contacted them and unfortunately they do not do this kind of work. I will travel to an expert if necessary, but it would be nice to find someone who is relatively close to Raleigh, NC. Thanks is advance for the help!

Try Duncan Systems in Elkhart, Indiana. I do not have their number, but I am sure you can find them on the internet.

I think I've recommend this place before and I don't know if it's too far for you but Mike's Collision Center has an excellent reputation and I know of two parties who have had their windshields replaced or seals repaired --along with others who have had body work done--and have been very happy with the service and prices.

Mine is at the factory getting repaired. My windshields started to droop down allowing a leak at the top. They pulled the windshields and found that the wood that was below the windshield, supporting the windshields and keeping the shape of the front cap, had rotted away (not surprising because the wood was not sealed prior to installation). This allowed the fiberglass section of the front cap, just above the genny hood to droop about 3/4", the genny door was touching the upper section at the middle and was fine on the outer edges. I was present as we jacked up the fiberglass section to see if we could get it back in place, which went easily.

So all the wood is being replaced (and resin sealed prior to installation) now and the cap is being jacked up before fiberglassing/screwing the wood in to lock in the shape of the cap. A lot of labor but I'm glad I came to where she was created and have guys working on her that worked on her originally.

Joe, Sorry for the slow reply.. Try China Grove Glass on NC 152 outside of China Grove in Rowan County. I know that they have done great work in the past.
