Safe T Plus Visit and Installation, Austell, GA

I installed the Safe T Plus back in November and have been happy with it's performance. Long story short, the U Bolts were over torqued and bent the U Bolt bracket.

I just happened to be going through Atlanta so I contacted Safe T Plus to receive a new installation kit and have them complete the install to ensure it doesn't happen again. When I arrived, they identified that because I have a newer chassis, that it was affecting my turn radius by about 1". They installed the new unit (51-230) which is a little longer than the 41-230 along with a little longer tie rod bracket. If you have a newer chassis, you may want to double check with them just to make sure. They are working with the chassis manufacturers to help better identify differences.

I just made it to Nashville, TN from Atlanta, GA through the tail end of that recent storm and I must way, wow! Driving through that wind was not as scary as it use to be. I can't say enough good things about Safe T Plus as a company and their employees and with a life time warranty, how can you go wrong? If you are on the fence of which stabilizer to install, I would highly recommend Safe T Plus for more than just the performance of the unit and lifetime warranty but also the customer service/support. My experience with them was so amazing I had to buy them all pizza after the install.

Agreed! Put one on my 2006 Dodge Diesel PU a few months ago that tows a 6,000# toy hauler. Huge improvement! On my way back through Texas at the end of a 7,000 mile trip and the wind was howling. Ripped the tonneau cover off the bed of the truck! But the truck itself was amazingly stable.

Wish I had the money back that I spent over the years on "Steering Stabilizers" that did nothing.....

This is the F53 chassis? I am about to take delivery on a 2018 Mirada and want to make sure I get the right brackets. Sounds like i might need the one you just got.

Very likely. I would give them a call before ordering.

I heard of this model # and I don't see the 51-230 on their website? We have the 41-230 (the blue one) on our MH.
