If our Traveler is blocked by trees and the camp cable service is poor,
We do the same as Noserider (Dish Anywhere App) but we pull the data through our WiFi SkyRanger PRO which pulls it either from Park WiFi or our Verizon Jetpack.

The casting is done with an old iPhone 6 that doesn’t have any cell or data service but works well as a screen mirroring tool. We leave it permanently hooked up in the electronics cabinet.

We carry a ground tripod for the few times a year that the Trav'ler on the roof is blocked.

We have a 40 GB data plan and that would come no where near handling streaming of the TV show nor is park WiFi ever capable of the streaming load.

The Trav'ler and the ground tripod are necessary for using our Hopper 3 DVR. No dome is capable of properly handling a DVR.

We do use a Ubiquiti Bullet roof radio to insure we can use park WiFi to the capability the park can provide as 40 GB is not enough for our needs.

Most of our connection with the park WiFi is done through our Pepwave SOHO router which does WiFi-As-WAN. The router connects to the park WiFi and redistributes to the devices in our RV.
