searching for ride height for endeavor 2000 38WDD

I have search like everywhere for that info but have not yet found the correct value for my specific motorhome. Found at Freightliner site, holiday rambler site and many others but not for my motorhome. HR have change the chassis on 2001 but the information for my 2000 is not easy to find.

How about calling Freightliner Custom Chassis Help and asking? Have your VIN handy and call 1-800-FTL-HELP

Thank you for quick response, did have values form freigtliner but when my mecanic does the setting I have my front lower then the back, the diving shaft angle is not good and i have vibration when driving on the road. Mecanic did change the rear angle to have less vibration but still some over 62 mph. Did change all chocks, all air bags and some control valves but still have vibration.

Have to wonder if your mechanic is measuring from the correct points to adjust the ride height. When aligned properly the front should not be lower and the drive shaft should be straight. Good chance the vibration is coming from the U-joints.

YUP, time for a "recheck" vs Freightliner spec.

Correct ride height is critical for both driveline angle and suspension travel.

You have a Roadmaster chassis under your coach, not a Freightliner.

Here is a PDF on where you measure for the ride height. There is an upper and lower plate sandwiching each airbag. The ride height is measured from plate to plate, inside surface where the airbag touches.

Here is a chart for 1991 - 2008

Certainly the very first thing to determine-- which chassis do you have!

specification says that i have a Freightliner chassis, mesurement are made as freightliner document from center of lower shock bolt and to buttom of frame rail. When sent my serial number to freightliner they did respond with the ride height, but that does not seem to be the correct one.

A Freightliner and a Roadmaster chassis are hugely different. The Roadmaster has a huge "H" shape suspension under the front and rear.

If you have the above suspension, you would use the numbers for the Diplomat that is listed.

If in fact you have a freightliner here is some good information. The other thing is that just because your motorhome is a 2000 doesn't mean the chassis is. That is the first thing to sort out.

I have two tags mounted to the chassis, one is in my front passenger side wheel well, the second one is located above the pulley end of the engine up high (I have a side radiator)
The tag has the make/model of my chassis. It looks like this

In 2000 The HR Endeavor had not yet been moved to a Roadmaster chassis. The VIN is definitive as to the chassis - Freightliner CustomChassis VINs start with 4UZ. Roadmaster begins with IRF
