Seat foam replacement???

Has anyone out There ever replace the flexsteel bottom foam on the captain chairs?? I had a 99 southwind where the driver seat foam was not great. Now I have a 09 bounder and it is way worse than the 20 year old southwind. It’s obvious that the previous owner turned the chair sideways to sit on when parked and the right side of the foam is collapsed which makes it very uncomfortable to drive. Im sure I can find a shop to replace but didn’t know if this is something you can order online?? ... first long trip in it this past week which included a hurricane and a earthquake and a sore back 😁

I'm sure any competent upholstery shop could build new foam for your seat.

I've had good luck finding CAD-cut seat foam backs and bottoms, based on application vehicle (so you know it fits), from an Amazon seller called The Seat Shop. I don't really know anything about the business (where, #, etc) but I bet they have contact info somewhere so you can call and ask if they can do it. Reasonable $$ for what you're getting, too.

Here's a search to them:

https://www.amazon.com/s?k=%22the+se...f=nb_sb_noss_2

(No connection to me. I just like them.)

In November I bought replacement foam for one of my Flexsteel captain's chairs directly from Flexsteel. I dealt with Colleen Kafar. She was very helpful.

Thanks for the good info.... how big was your foam square you bought and did you have to trim it or does it look ok left as the square in the cover?
