SeeLevel Tank Monitor Issues

We are having trouble with our monitor on the grey tank only. Both sensors, one in the coach and the other in the wet bay, read the same number, which is wrong. I know this because I dump the tank completely and it ends up saying 35, 46, or something else.

I read the manual and did the diagnostic test by holding the grey tank button and the battery button. The power shows 10 and the manual says it should read a minimum of 20 for it to be accurate.

Since both monitors are reading the same thing and the power is at 10, I'm thinking it must be the sensor attached to the tank. If this is the case could solids against the walls cause this issue? I know theres not really solids in the grey like a black tank but maybe buildup.

Anyone have any suggestions? As a side note, the L, which I think is levels, is reading 6 in the diagnostic mode. Thanks for any suggestions.

Can you get to the sensor strip and verify that it is still firmly adhered to the tank?
