Selling tires

I apologize if this is not the right place to post. Couldn't find anything in search. I'm replacing my motorhome tires next week and would like to sell the used ones. I was told Truckers will buy them. Where is the appropriate place to post them? TIA.

Unless the dealer providing the new tires will buy your old ones, Craig's List is your best option. Of course that means you have to drag those big tires home and store them until a buyer shows up, and of course handle the inquiries from prospective buyers (tire kickers?).

You'll get better responses from an ad on Marketplace.... Craigslist doesn't get teh traffic it used to.
A couple years ago when I replaced my tires, I had the dealer put them in my pickup , which is also my toad. So I avoided the "tire recycle" fee ... which was only $5/tire. I took the tires home, put an ad on Marketplace and within a couple hours a trucker came over and gave me $800 ( $100 each) for my old set of tires. So, I was $840 ahead by selling them myself -- that's a couple fuel fill ups !!!

This conversation applies to mostly 295R, 11.5R and 12R size tires.

Sold my old Michelin 245/75/22.5 on Kijiji for $200 each. They use them on
large trailers.

Got rid of 2 sets of 22.5 tires thru CL. 1st set went to a guy with a salvage yd. 2nd set to a farmer. Had both sets on CL for a week with no hits @ only $100 or $200 for each set (6) No cracks, just aged out at 8yrs. I then listed them as free just to get rid of them and avoid the recycle fee. Gone the next day. Would been nice to get some $$ back you guys did.
