Ben, the picture, I posted, doesn't have the rear rad fan hub. I'm looking for routing on rear rad coach engine.

I found this, I knew I'd seen it posted . Hope It's the same as what you have.

From the diagram I can see why Don posted about the idler removal.

Yes the picture on the left is what I’m working with. As I stated I’m thinking I can go from the top of the fan over to the alternator.

It's been about 4 years since I broke the belt. If I recall, all it took was a 9/16 wrench and a breaker bar with a 9/16 socket. When you reroute that belt, minus the AC compressor, the belt goes straight through where the center pulley is at. Just remove the single bolt and pulley and save it for when you put it back together. I bought the breaker bar at Napa too.

Once you have the belt, it's a quick repair, at least on a side radiator.

Worst case, do what I did. I took the old belt and routed it, minus the AC compressor and then marked it with a Sharpie as to the length needed. I took it to Napa and they had two belts, so I bought them both. I later returned the one at a Napa near my home.

Near as I can figure I need a belt 72 inches long. I measured it with the old belt bypassing the a/c . I also measured it with a string and came up with a just shorter number both times with the tensioner held back . So my plan is to order a K080720 and a K080725 gates and pray 1 of them fit 🤷*♂️

For anybody following this post I installed a Dayco K080720 belt to bypass the a/c compressor on my 8.3 Cummins. The same belt that is used on the bigger 450HP Cummins a K080726 would fit just fine as well .I would just like to say thank you for all the info to Skip426 Up and running again in Cecil Georgia.

Good to hear!

As a kid, I spent a lot of time up the road from you in Hawkinsville. (WWII and Korea)

After you return home and fix everything, don't forget to use a new tensioner pulley.
