Service on Diesel Pusher at Speedco

I had my 06 Endeavor with the ISL 400 cummins engine and allison transmission serviced yesterday at Speedco in KC Mo. What a service they do at Speedco. They check everything and do everything. They changed the oil and filter, changed both fuel filters, greased the chassis, checked the rear end, trans, radiator to include the nitrates and antifreeze check, put washer fluid in the windshield washer and done it all the way I wanted it for $200.00 or less depending on the filters. I would highly recommend them.

I also have heard very good things about speedco. I wish there was one nearby.

Speedco Does Allison?

X2 your recommendation on Speedco. Am surprised to see you mention Allison transmission service. In the past they've not been able to do that, at least at the Speedco in Aurora, OR. I just went to the Speedco website and saw no automatic transmission services on their menu.

Is the Allison service, as in change fluid and filters, a new offering at Speedco? Hope so!

Like many chains, I believe that the quality of Speedco service varies from shop to shop. I decided to try the one east of Phoenix and only gave it a grade of "C".

They didn't have my fuel filters and frankly the shop was very dirty.

I had my 07 Tour 400 Cummins serviced at the speedco in KC a few months ago. They could not get the engine light to go out. They finally sent me to KW in Kansas City. It turns out that there are 2 different fuel filters that fit this engine, one will not communicate with the computer. They tried the wrong filter 3 times. I wasted a day doing a simple service. They should have known this.

Used the Speedco in Kenly NC on the way south in January, I would rate the service as excellent, the personnel were polite, competent, and quick. I actually sent an email to the corporate office praising the service.
