Shop recommendations for DP service Cent FL

Hi All,

Wondering if anyone has any experience with service shops in the Winter Haven, Haines City, Lake Wales area of central FL. Recently bought a 2006 Monaco Diplomat 40pdq with a Cummins 400hp diesel. It only has 22,000 miles, but the oil and filters haven't been changed in a couple of years. I have a service appointment with LazyDays in Seffner the end of this week, but I've read some unfavorable reviews. Plus, it's 40+ miles one way there. Any shop recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

Lazydays can certainly do it, but so can most any diesel service shop near you. Diesel oil & filter is hardly technically challenging.

However, if you don't know the maintenance status, you might want to have the whole chassis gone over, i.e. chassis lube, all the filters (not just oil), air dryer, etc. Lazydays can do all that too - they are a Monaco dealer. Or there is a Monaco Premier Service Center up in Wildwood where you can get anything and everything on your Diplomay serviced or repaired by experienced Monaco techs, but that's more than 40 miles away.

I recommend Cummins Coach Care in Ocala, FL. The work was performed
as quoted, on time and at a reasonable price. They have a 4 corner lift which
is a plus. Also 10 sites with 50/30amp hook ups.

Thanks Everyone! Found out the place where my employer has the fleet cars serviced also works on RVs, Semi's, and school buses for the county. Having them do the initial service (plus I get a 5% discount ). I would like to have a Monaco certified tech take a look at the coach in the near future though...all great suggestions.
