Shop4seats Quality?

We are looking to replace our rv furniture in Newmar Canyon Star. Has anyone used Shop4seats to replace their rv furniture? If so, are you pleased with the quality? Do you know if the leather was produced in the USA?

We bought a reclining sofa from them 3 years ago and it has held up very well. The ultra-leather covering has proven to be comfortable, resistant to scratches, and easy to clean. One thing, ultra-leather is not true leather but a vinyl product that looks and feels like high grade leather. You can't tell the difference between the sofa and the leather captains chairs by FlexSteel.

I bought a jacknife sofa, dinette and captains chairs from them. They are OK, but not great.

The captains chairs with the gathered material are very uncomfortable. I always had to sit on a towel. We ended up putting the original captains chairs in. Controls and brackets have to be transferred from the original and but into the fabric. The belt slot also needs to be cut in leaving an unhemmed edge. Note that depending on options ordered you may need to order another height pedestal from Winn. We ordered the passenger captains chair with a motorized footrest. The footrest part was too tall and hit the floor. Needed to add spacer and didn't feel comfortable with that...another reason we went back to the original captains chairs.

I ordered a 77" sofa and one that came was 76". Also the sofa removable armrests have a flap of material that is supposed to cover the jacknife mechanism from the side...it doesn't. The drawer on the sofa has a latch that if you aren't careful will snag the sofa.

The drawers on the dinette have no latches, just kinda force fit in the last inch.

They look pretty good and the quality is ok, but fit in our case wasn't the greatest. If I had to do it over, I would have reupholstered the origins.

Oh, one more thing on the dinette. The way they are constructed caused us to lose the seat belts and the metal angle that attaches them. We still have the seat belts on the two sofas. If these seat belts at the table are important to you, it may be an issue. You will need to heavily modify the bottom structure of the benches to make room for the belt attachments. It may also cause interference with the drawers in the benches.

Just installed a set of captains chairs in 2016 Bay Star 3403. Installation was very easy, the passenger side bolt holes in Newmar pedestal lined up perfectly with the manual adjuster on the new seat. on the driver side the manual adjuster was removed and the bolts on the new seat lined up with the holes in the power base. The lever that was supplied did not really fit for the lock on the seat to swivel to face the rear but I was able to adapt it. I removed the power seat controls from the ole Flexsteel seat and was able to attach to the seat base on the left side.

drove about 700 miles and very comfortable.

Ordered & installed "theater Seating" from them for the '04 Newmar Mountain Aire.

Extremely comfortable, great quality, and color.

Current owner loves them

Liked them so much that I ordered "Theater Seating" in my 2020 Newmar Canyon Star!
