Regardless of the builder most RV's use the same components. Slides, jacks, pumps, and so on. Many failures are associated to these components and there ain't much you can do about that.

As to the builder. Unlike most automobiles, RV's are not built to the same high standard. Most automobiles will give you pretty trouble free service for many years and miles. Just about all RV's are born with issues and troubles. If you went out and purchased 10 new Class A units from the various manufactures at least 6 of them will spend quit a bit in the shop in the beginning. And also unlike an automobile the RV owner has to learn quit a bit on how the different systems etc work. On an RV you don't just put a key in and go.

Like you, this is my first experience with a class A. I bought used. I bought the floor plan we wanted, why buy a floor plan you don't like? I really like my coach but what a hassle it has been. Every time I turn around something else gives up the ghost. I am pretty handy at fixing stuff so I've been able to stay on top of it, but it makes me trust my MH like wet flatulence. Knowing that I so far have a 100% chance of something going bad on my next trip my confidence level is fairly low. I am sure once I get a chance to rebuild and restructure/redesign some stuff and figure out how everything works on these (no owners manuals or service manuals on RV's like with automobiles) I'll be okay. But after spending a lot of time pulling a travel trailer around with virtually zero issues and costing me very little money compared to this Coach I'd say have have a certain amount of regret in my purchase.
Now, my story is not true of everyone for sure. Some folks buy these and go years and years with very little issues.

Customer service is your number 1 consideration. That would be with both the manufacturer and your dealer.

Every word you write is fact.
