Thanks for all the input. I will be going with the majority & keeping it wet...but I like the less than full suggestion for weight.

I like the idea of "Life Boat" for earthquake...but I store my rig in Indoor Storage...It could end up parked behind several rigs....and the roof of the building might collapse....who knows what might happen.
