Sky River RV - Pismo Beach, CA

Found a potential RV at Sky River, has anyone bought from them? If so how was the process? Have you gone back for service? How was that? Any help appreciated.

The Yelp reviews seem mostly positive.

We bought from Sky River in 2010 when they had a Livermore facility. They later moved to Dublin.

When Sky River had service staff problems in Dublin, they had staff from their Paso Robles facility help. Those staff were superb.

If we were in an area with a Sky River facility, we would purchase from them again knowing they want to do the right thing for their customers.

There was a recent thread in regards to Sky River, possibly even this location. Use the search feature to search for "Sky River"

Thank you all for your responses. After looking at various review sites it seems Sky River has great reviews for selling, not very good for warranty and follow-up. We have decided to pass on this one and keep looking.

There is a Sky River in Paso Robles. We looked at a new Dutch Star there last week. Never got to any negotiations as I asked the salesman twice about the price and he stated the MSRP was the price..... not "make me an offer" ...... did not think they would deal.

Good at selling . . . Issues with warranty. Unfortunately, that happens all to often. With our big name coach, I had a couple of different approved service places admit that the issue had a lot more to do with the manufacturer okaying the repairs clearly under warranty. For example, a slide lock that a forum search will show has been an issue for many. Fortunately near our home base is a very good RV service center that does everything RV. A coupe of smaller things I just paid for because I wanted the work done right. And quickly.

Twice we've been in the area in the last year. Lusting after new DS's we are. Both times Sky River was running ads with pretty good discounts. Found the sales staff to be quite pleasant. However, when the time comes, our first serious effort will be at the dealership in Simi Valley. Visited both places within a week of each other last time. Paso's good. Simi is excellent.

If you don't mind a fun ride, North Trail in Florida told me they would give 32% off on an ordered coach.
