Slide adjustment

Is there a simple slide adjustment...the top is flush bottom out about an inch.

I may be over simplifying but, looks to me like you just need to adjust the stop on your slide out. Let it come in a little farther.

Yes. The slide I adjusted had adjustable stops under the bottom of the slide that were visible with the slide extended. Make small equal adjustments between test retractions.
