The large living room slide has 2 rubber gaskets and they keep popping out. They are an absolute pain to reinsert. I have tried using petroleum jelly to help slide them on and hopefully keep them in place. I have finally given up on one of the gaskets and currently only have one in place. Is there a right way and a wrong way to replace the gaskets?
