Slide noise

I have an 07 Fourwinds WindSport (Thor), 36’ with 3 slides. The bedroom slide makes a loud squeak type noise while extending, no noise retracting. No tracks are visible from underneath. I want to grease the slide, but where? Anyone have any thoughts? Also, should I use White Lithium on the slides that have visible tracks? Thanks for any help you can offer.

Slide noise

I wish I could be of more assistance, but I’m not sure which slide system you have. A general rule is to not use any grease on slide tracks as it will attract dirt and grime and will only gum up the system. I’d suggest contacting Thor with you VIN number and have them tell you which slide system you have and then come back to the forum for maintenance tips.

Good luck.

You have to be rubbing somewhere

I have adjusted mine slightly with the leveling bolts to raise it about 1/16 of an inch off the bathroom floor which was creating a squeak but not scratching due to the tile floor

You want to do this very slowly and check all dimensions when closed
