I started to open my front slide and realized I needed to move the driver seat, then continued. Pushing the button gave me absolutely nothing. I can still open the rear slide, I changed the fuse. Any other suggestions? Thanks

Welcome to iRV2 . First post I see.

In order to be of any real help , we're going to need a bunch of info about your coach , year make and model , right now I'm just assuming electric slides not electric driven ,hydraulic pump.

Thanks for responding. It is a 2006 34XB Allegro Bay. I guess electric slides. I really do not know.

Have you tried re-setting the park brake, and if it's a gas chassis , shifting the trans , in and out of park , something may have got moved slightly when you were moving the seat.
Tiffin has a help line number, for owners , I'll see if I can track it down.

How do you know you replaced the correct fuse, AND was it actually blown?
Sometimes they are mismarked.

Look in the basement to see if there is a motor and shaft under the floor of the slide out. If there is, look for the controller. It is a samll rectangular box, probably in the fuse compartment.

At this point your really need a volt meter or test light to start checking things.
If the other slides work, my guess is the neutral switch and parking brake switch are good.

Regards,

Dan

sbleiweiss: Yes I did try in and out. No response at all.

Dan, I replaced the fuse that was marked as Slide Outs. No the fuse wasn't blown. The other slide still works. There is a motor and shaft between the slide out unit and the RV wall. It is high up and only a small place to reach up into. With the slide in, it is impossible to work in that area unless one knew exactly what they were doing, (I don't). I did check the switch and it is getting power. I suspect that it is the motor. I called a repair shop this morning for an appt.

Thanks to all who provided suggestions.
