One thing I have noticed is when not connected to 110 my power discharges within 1/2 hr. I check the batteries after disconnect and was full charged.

To try clear a few things up.
1.all electric except levellers.
The slides are gear driven.
2. Control switch has no power to it so nothing is being sent to slide.

DakotaSatch, Sorry, please ignore my comments. I thought you had a full HWH hydraulic system. I didn't know Winnie Adventures had hybrid systems. (Face Palm) and (Blush)

Look in the circuit breaker panel either under the steps or in a compartment that is labels circuit breaker and relays. Check for circuit breaker popped out. There is also the controller behind the circuit breakers. Be very careful removing the breaker panel not to short it out on the side of the box. Let us know what you find.

Have replaced house batteries but no change on slide. Also was informed of micro switches on the slide lock. How would you check them with slide in or out or does it matter.

Micro switch should be check with ohm meter and depending on which one you are checking one will be normally open and the other normally closed. When the lock mechanism is changed from either locked or unlocked to the other the switches will change continuity from open to closed and from closed to open.

Just for your information my problem has been solved. Controller behind the circuit breakers kicked off power to the control panel. They unplugged main controller than plugged it back in which reset control panel and than hit reset which reprogramed the slide. Was solved by Stepper RV Repair in New Orleans. Small company but very good.

Thanks to all who contributed. Problem was the controller behind the circuit breaker panel had kicked out which stopped current to control panel. They unplugged controller which reset the control panel, hit reset and slide reprogramed itself. Credit goes to Stepper RV Service in New Orleans!!

Emergency slide retract procedure

For those that may run into this in the future and need an emergency procedure to get their electric slides in so they can leave the CG, here are pages 114-116 of my Winnebago manual.

Well anyone can look in the manual, but I was explaining what to do. Dealers are usually booked. I read the manual.

Your manual references the PG slide on your coach. I have a 09 Journey with the same PG slides. That design is definitely not the same as the current PG slides with the "issues".
Power Gear was purchased by Lippert Industries around 2014-15. Lippert had previously purchased Schwintec whose slide mechanisms were introduced in 2013 Winnebago coaches.
These slides use two or four very small high torque motors to travel on tracks on the side of the slideout. These are the problems referred to extensively in this forum.
Once Lippert had purchased PG, they developed a PG version (or more likely modified and rebranded) of the same basic design as the Schwintec.
These slides were used in virtually all Winnebago coaches and have been problematic since the were introduced. Winnebago. Most of the industry used them and problems still remain throughout the industry..
The current PG branded mechanisms are somewhat better but the problems still persist from feedback I have had. Older PG slides had a stellar reputation for durability and that is likely why the new slides are branded PG - to bolster consumer confidence.
The current slides look to me like the fourth generation of the design. The good news is Winnebago has stood behind the slides when owners had issues. Somewhere between many and most have had problems and continue to experience issues. It is very unfortunate when all of the bugs aren't out of a product before it goes into mass production by RV manufacturer - all of which clearly didn't do their homework or enough testing before introduction.
