Slide out relay switch

Hello everyone. I have an '04 Goergie Boy class A RV. I'm trying to find the relay for the front slideout. I found the rear one ok. The front "in/out" switch melted and I replace it with no problem. However, the slideout will still not work. I'm just guessing that whatever caused the short might have messed up the relay as well. I can put power to the motor and it works fine. Please help an old soldier out. THANKS IN ADVANCE!

Bruce,

Before you blame the relay have you looked at the control board? Also check the wiring from the switch to the control board, relay, batteries, etc. If the switch melted then there was a lot of current applied and even though I wouldn't rule out the relay, they are pretty durable, I would check weaker parts in the system. If there was enough current to melt the switch without blowing a fuse somewhere I would suspect a bare wire shorting to ground maybe after the switch. That could have effected the control board or other items in the circuit. If this all checks out well as you may have done it already post the relay part numbers and we can help with the search.

I had both control boards melt a joint from one of the relay pins that move the slideouts. I re-soldered the pins. The control boards had worked very good for 14 years.

I still cannot find the relay for the front slideout. Would anyone know? Also, Is there one or two relay switches on the control board? I have two. I originally thought that both were for the rear slideout, but now I wonder if each one is for a different slideout. So confused. Thanks in advance for your help!

My Power Gear control boards have 2 relays for each.
