Slide Problem

I have a 2016 Bounder 33c and am experiencing problem with the Power Gear (Lippert) lounge slide. The front extends normally but the rear stops 2 inches or so short of fully extended with no fault lights or codes. The slide retracts normally. The motorhome was bought new-to-me in 2018. On our first pleasure trip we experienced a problem with the same slide and had to call a mobile mechanic to bring the slide in so we could get to a repair shop. The shop had to synchronize the motors. This doesn't appear to be a repeat problem. Maybe something with the programmed stops?

Slide Out

Hi -
If I understand correctly, the slide has a "hard stop" for both in and out, so it wouldn't be an electrical problem in my opinioni.

There are so many versions of slides (even from the same manufacturer) that it is hard to say without more information.
So... a couple of questions: 1. How many rams (the moving 'arms') 2 or 3? 2. How many motors?
If it is 1 motor and a long bar that the system uses to drive 2 rams, then there is a procedure for manually re-synching the two. If 2 motors, then there is a different procedure that synchronizes them electronically. I'd think that you would have flashing error codes with 2 motors, so it's probably #1 here.
There are diagrams available that show how to re-synch depending on which version you have.
You can PM me if you wish and I can send some of the posted procedures.
