Slide room pushing out to far
I have a single slide on my 1995 National dolphin class A and the slide pushes out to far causing the bottom of the interior trim to bend. I looked under the slide and cannot find any adjustments. The motor has a label with Barker Manufacturing and the electronic slide controller is also made by Barker. There are no adjusters where the slide connects to the slide rods.
Does anyone know how I can make adjustments?

I'm not familiar with your slide but, what about those slots I see where the carriage bolts are is that some area to adjust? Not sure what your showing there. How about more pics of the slide mechanism for clearity. Has your slide always over extended or did you change something? Do you have another slide to compair to? Maybe someone else can clear this up for you, good luck.

Those bolts are for adjusting that apparatus that holds the motor assembly which in turn turns the square bar which turns geared wheels on the slide bars.
Interestingly enough when I zoomed in on the controller I saw this adjuster!! Might that be the answer? Could it be that simple !
I have recently acquired the coach and am in the process of remodelling it. The slide was already pushing out too far when I got it.

Yep, it's that simple. Very similar to what Newmar uses. It senses the amps climb when the slide hits the stops. Kind of a fine line between not enough (slide won't come up the ramp if a flat floor unit) or pulling in too hard/far. Easy does it with the adjustment.

That's a simple potentiometer, or what is called a mini-pot.
Like explained by Mr_D, move it very little when you turn it. They are very sensitive.

Good for you you found it and it sounds like the other two posts agree. It seems pretty simple, funny that it changed from who ever owned the MH before you. Some of those mini pots are fairly loose so maybe just bouncing down the road caused it to change. If once you adjust it and that fixes you issue you could put a drop of rtv between the pot adjuster and the housing to prevent any further movement. Should you need to adjust it later simply remove the rtv and make your adjustment. Then added another dab. I've used red glyptal paint to lock pots but this might be harder for you to find unless you have an electronic store nearby or order online. Good luck.
