Slide topper

The slide topper was gone when we bought the RV. The canvas is actually what is gone. Anyone know where to get a new canvas in NorCal?

In order to advise you the best way, you should tell us your MH info, slide & topper make.

You can permanently list your MH info by doing the following:
1) Going to the top of this page and click the top left tab named “User CP”
2) Look at the menu on the left and scroll down to “Settings & Options” and click “Edit Signature”
3) In that text box type all the information about your MH, Year, model, length, mileage, any aftermarket extras installed, your toad and so on. You’ll be limited to 3 lines unless you become a IRV2 supporter.
Consider signing up and becoming a IRV2 supporter. It’s a small way to give back to what we all reap here.

I don't know of any toppers that are made of canvas, but there are many choices of fabrics and materials by several manufacturers. In the meantime some of these videos may be helpful on install procedures and possible topper vendors:

If you can determine the measurements or the make and model of the topper there are quite a few online sellers of replacement material. A few examples of mail order replacement covers -
ToughTopAwnings.com
https://www.rvautoparts.com/White-Fabric_c_12162.html
https://pantherrvproducts.com/awning...e-out-awnings/

To actually install the topper there are a bunch of You Tube videos to step you through it - https://www.youtube.com/results?sear...opper+material.

If you are not capable installing yourself either a mobile RV mechanic can do the work or just about any RV service center.

I just replaced the material on my slide out covers. One thing I dislike is repairing something twice, so I wanted the best material. I used material from Stone Voss also. They are the best in the business. In addition to the material used, the thread type is very important. On my covers the thread had deteriorated and they were coming apart.
Ingrid will talk you through the measurement process and even provide instructions on how to install the covers.
