Slideout issue

2005 Holiday Rambler Scepter electric slide outs. Passenger slide. Power Gear now owned by Lippert components. The issue is a horizontal adjustment. The slide closes opens as it should and when closed it seals all the way around. The problem is it is tilted to the top left and is not square in the opening. The bottom left Corner is 1 1/4inches from slide to frame and the top left corner is only 1/2 inches from slide to frame. It finally tore off the double bubble swiper at the top left corner. I can not install the new Swiper gasket because there is not enough room in the 1/2 inch opening. I have contacted Lippert and adjusted all the horizontal options and put all adjustments back to the original settings etc. .The only other possible adjustment I can find is a 3/4 in hex head bolt installed vertically in the bay storage area. Another similar bolt is positioned above in the fuel tank bay toward the front of the slide. Not sure what this does.

When the slide is closed, are the paint lines on the slide aligned with the outer wall? Is this a “flat floor” slide, where the box drops down at full extension to be level with the coach floor?

the hex bolt adjusts the carriage that the roller sits in. There is a lock nut above the 3/4" hex. The slide rolls in and out. Depending on the size if the slide= the number of rollers. There should be rollers under an inside cabinet or two. Did this happen all at once? If it happened slowly, then you can adjust the roller (or 2). If it happened all at once then probably a roller broke. The REV web sight has a picture of the roller in the carriage. Stan

Yes The paint stripes are aligned. No the floor does not drop down when opened.

Then turning those 3/4 inch hex bolts won’t have any effect on tilting the the slide out to the right. Thanks

You should be able to see the rollers by laying down on the floor and looking under the slide with a flashlight. There are probably some differences between my 2000 and your 2005 model, but you should have at least two rollers on both the coach floor and the slide box. It sounds like the slide alignment is correct when closed, but fails when opened. This could be from the rollers themselves, or from some object on the floor beneath the slide.

REV is the company that now owns Holiday rambler. Their web sight is not great for the older coaches. When I ordered mine there was a picture with no measurements. There are 2 different size rollers offered. Number 10111058 is a 5" roller and10115636 is 11.125". The measurement is a tip to tip. You have to remove the roller and it carriage to get the exact measurement, but it rather obvious. The whole assembly is held in with 8 screws, 4 at each end. I have 5 roller outside( in storage compartments) and 5 roller in side(under cabinets)--full wall slide. Stan
