I like to level the coach first, then put out the slides one at a time. Putting the slides out will change the center of gravity of the coach if not leveled. Given the fragility of Schwintek slide systems, it seems prudent to try not to stress them by using them in an unlevel position. Odd that the dealers never seem to care about this when displaying units on their lots.

Hopefully one of our members with a similar coach will respond as these procedures vary between mfg.

My 2003 Rexhall Rexair has a switch/key in the hall for the bedroom slide. and one on the dash for the L/R slide. A backer plate for the switch has words to the effect" Caution extends jacks and level coach before extending slide ".

I had a 1997 rexhall with HWH hydraulic jacks and slide. Put RV In park, engage emergency brake, ignition key to accessory, turn on HWH system at joystick plate, pull out two outside joysticks, then middle joystick move to all jack positions to drop jacks till you feel contact with ground and lift RV up till all 4corners are just off ground, then follow the yellow light till the ,light goes off on each corner. Now the RV is level. NOTE make sure you site the front is lower than the year as you don't want to have the rear wheels off the ground because the emergency brake is on the rear wheels and if they loose contact with ground the RV WILL ROLE ON YOU!

Now that RV is level you can extend your slides. Make sure you have lots of clearance for slide. When you retract slide retract first then retract all jacks by pulling the joysticks to the center. Have fun

I too have a 1997 Aerbus and I follow the exact same process as outlined by Hurk above. In my case, I have to have the engine running in order to extend the slide and the lighted jack diagram has to be "on" and lit up for the slide to extend.
