We need the year, make and model of your RV. They all have different ways of moving the slides.

Yes.
Put a voltmeter on the batteries (one battery, measure across Positive and Neg terminals) you should see at least 13.5 V if it is charging.

doesn't show a picture of the disconnect switch (it sounds more like a push On/Off switch).

If your disconnect is like mine (and you can get to the backside where the large battery cables attach) just check for voltage on both big terminals (with switch Off yo only have voltage on one cable, with On you have voltage at both big cables).

Are you plugged into shore power? The manual with my unit urges you to deploy slides when plugged in or on generator. Low batteries will not have sufficient power to get slides in or out. Make sure house batteries are online start the gen if you can or plug in.
