Slow Living Room slide

Over the past 4 months or so, my LR slide is getting slower and slower to close...I have removed a few items (weight) and no help...last few times hooked to shore power, I had to turn the key (slide) on and off 5-7 times to get it to close. Opening no problem. Does that sound like aging motor? Not sure of brand etc., just looking for feedback to diagnose further...thank you

My BIL just went through a similar situation. He had to remove items from slide for the last year so it would close. Finally the motor gave up the ghost. Took something like 3 weeks to get a new motor. I would go ahead and start looking for a motor.

If you had engine running so you had plenty of power and it was slow, then it does sound like the motor.

You do lube regularly, right? And gaskets are all lubed or powdered to help reduce dray where they should?

Kind of what I was thinking...I lubricate sporadically but it is slowly fading away...
