This is the correct answer. Many rental places around here have them or a place like Servpro will put one in for you. Word of warning when using one, do not breath the air while one is running in a RV, it takes all the oxygen out of the air.

I've been looking at the ozone generators. Prices are all over the place. Has anyone purchased one of these, and possibly have recommendations?
Thanks

Have had luck taking smells out of carpet with Arm & Hammer baking soda. Sprinkle it on, rub in gently with hand, let sit for about 1/2 hour, and vacuum up.

I have the xt-6000 I bought 10 years ago to treat a basement. Worked well.

I am amazed at how many people don't know about the ability of an ozone generator to remove smells. I have never run across a situation in which it didn't work.

Here is one that I have used with great success.

Motels use ozone generators when guests smoke in the no smoking rooms takes a few hours and completely eliminates the odor.

We have one and it works. As other said you do not want to be in the RV when ozone generator is in use.

I had honestly never heard of an ozone generator before, and I've got some age on me. Learn something new every day! I will be investing in one after we do our deep cleaning job.

Dehumidifier and ozone. You can rent an ozone generator. Completely dehydrate before using the ozone.

Try baking soda. It will absorb most order. We keep an open box in our refrigerator, also use to clean inside.

We just purchased a used 2016!Starcraft 5th wheel. We noticed a horrible smell, tried everything to get rid of it. Husband took the belly cover off underneath and discovered a leak near the commode and rat dropping along with loads of candy wrappers.. Hopefully this is the end to the smell! Also put charcoal out on paper plates.

Follow direction. If it's not urine, you won't have to saturate, but moisten. If it's urine then you you want it to penitrate the fabric. This stuff works! when our dog or guest dog would have an accident on the carpet we would saturate down to the padding, if you don't get the whole area, then you won't solve the whole problem. Don't be skimmy using it. This stuff treats the problem, doesn't cover it up. Hope this helps. Good luck.

Another vote for Nature's Miracle, we've used it at home with a string of dogs and three cats over the years.

If you go this route, don't get one of the little ones that plug into a 12v outlet, they're not up to the job.

Alternatively, I'd think about contacting a commercial clean-up company that cleans up after fires, etc. With their expertise and equipment, they can probably do this much better than you can. If nothing else, it'd be worth getting a diagnosis and estimate.

I agree you need a commercial grade ozone generator, not one of those "toys" they sell consumers, they simply will not generate enough ozone fast enough to out pace its dissipation.

Thanks for the input. I found a local rental company that carries a commercial level generator, so will try that after the dehumidifier.
