I get it, sounds like a nice addition. I see lots of people talk about their wood block solution. I never see anyone talk about jack retraction.

That seems key to me. For a thousand times I see folks complain about slow, or faulty jack retraction. Lots of stories and problems. It seems to me that snap pads would contribute a lot of weight to jacks which rely on springs to return to the stowed position. Older springs, are weaker springs.

I would be interested in the discussion of that factor before I buy.

We have them and love them. Looking at some of the orders being placed on this thread I would caution that you make sure your are getting the correct pad for your jack foot. We have a 2018 Winnebago Vista and it required 10" pads. The snap pad website has good sizing info that you can follow even if you order them from etrailer.

Got them and love them. I actually had three bent Lippert 9" jack feet when brand new, all replaced under warranty. Apparently a Lippert redesign about three years ago lets them bend easier. I could not get the SnapPads on those three and that's how I learned they actually were bent a bit. We believe they were bent at the dealer because the jacks were down on their very soggy, muddy, grassy lot and the jack feet had a lot of mud on them when retracted.

Our SnapPads add only one inch to the bottom and I have not had any more bent jack feet. While they look close to the ground, go look at where the jacks are attached to the frame. Normally its very close to the axles. That means as the wheels go up and down over the road the jacks go with them.

I had to replace my jack system and added the Snap Pads at that time. I love them! But I will occasionally add my 4x12 wooden pads to reduce the stroke of the jacks. The old jack feet were all bent from parking on soft ground without pads. I recommend them.

Good advice... as one of the previous posters that you may or may not be talking about, rest assured I got under there and measured!

Also be careful because many jacks, mine included don’t have much clearance from other components when retracted and the snap pads may interfere with them fully retracting.

I have only seen my jack feet sink into wet grass one time, and that was with ground so soft my shoes sunk in while walking the same ground. Snap-pads would not have helped in that situation..... what helped was putting 2x12 boards 24 inches long under the jacks....

My thoughts too.... the only benefit I an see is if the CG requires some type of pad, but, in 25 yrs of driving a Class A around the country, I've yet to come across a place that required a pad/board under jacks.

Snap Pads

I love mine. Have put them on two Class A coaches. Bounder 35B and Revolution LE 40E. Both took the bigger size and yes it was over $200.00 for a set of 4. They went on in 20 minutes for all 4.

Love them. Like that I don't have to do anything with the pads when putting them down.

Same here,, never had any campground require them. I do carry wood for just in case though. In my situation, the rig is a lightweight at around 14,000 lbs which makes my decision easy. I would have probably already had them installed if it was over the 20,000 lb mark.

Do you remember which size you purchased for your Revolution?

Have had then for over two years. Love them. If you notice the only posters questioning them don't have them. By far the people who have them like them.

Recently put these on my tour. I didn't often use the wood blocks I carry but usually used them when parking on the grass at harvest hosts wineries. I'm really happy to not be crawling on the ground anymore, manually leveling and trying to place the wood in the right spot. I bought the front and rear separately on Amazon, waiting for customer returns that were discounted. All brand new, assume original buyers just ordered wrong size. Different brands of leveler need different models of snap pad. My tour uses Xtra on the front and Xtra xl on rear.

What am I missing here? If you put a couple of screw eyes or two in your wood blocks you could move them wherever you need them under your rig with a boat hook or some sort of extension pole.

This will be my solution as I am not spending $250 for a non problem. I also do not like the fact that moisture and debris has no way of escaping and could cause premature deterioration of the pad
