Sofa bed mattress=garbage

We're final getting into using our new to us class a. We're going to be using it pretty much every weekend, the whole family will be traveling. Meaning my wife, myself, our 7 year old and my in-laws.
Jr is in one of the bunks, my in-laws get the master bed when they travel with us and we get the sofa bed.
It sucks, but hey respect your elders.
I have a new deck kit coming for the sofa bed to firm things up besides who knows what's happened to it before we got it. It needs a mattress in the worst way. The p.o. replaced it with a foam one that's not the right size nor do i think it's even a mattress.
What are some of my options on buying a mattress that doesn't suck?

Hi. Congrats on your new adventures.

We replaced our sofa bed with an AirDream mattress. Quite pleased with it.
