Sofa bed w/air mattress

We have a sofa bed with an air mattress topper. While I don't plan on sleeping on it, I would like to make my guests as comfy as possible. How much air is best to add to these? Fill them up or just enough to support you. My daughter and her husband slept on it and filled it up. Said it was like sleeping on a water bed with no baffles.

That's gonna be a matter of individual preference. I would fill it to the point that it "fills out" all over, but don't make it hard. Use that as a starting point and let the person who's gonna sleep on it do the "fine tuning". JMHO!

We removed the air mattress and re-stuffed the cover with a 4" memory foam topper. No motion is transferred to partner and it folds up like the air mattress.
