Thumbs up Solei 34T First Impressions

All,
We have had our Solei for all of 24 days now. We picked it up at Lichtsinn's in Forest City on Halloween. So far it has been a treat and not a trick. The Lichtsinn folks were great. Tim and company in service took care of a few minor problems and we were on our way home the following Tuesday. We had decided to stay a few days just to check things out before we headed home.
Right now we have about 1400 miles on it and it has been a nice step up from the Adventurer 33V. We drove back from Forest City stopping a few days along the way. No problems with that trip. We also did a weekend in Nashville with 3 other coaches. We did a lunch and a snack gathering for 8 in the coach and it was more than sufficiently roomy.
It rides and drives nice. We were getting 9.5MPG driving in bad rainy and windy weather (head wind mostly) and 10.5 on nice days and roads. It pulled its way up a long 5% grade on cruise control - 10.4 at the bottom and 10.2 at the top - not bad at all.
We like the mid entry and the cockpit area is very roomy. We have the optional passenger seat that has the fold out table. We had Winnebago install a ladder even though it was not one of the available options.

So far an excellent choice.

We looked at the solei at the grand national rally and they look very nice. Since it is a new model were you able to get much off list?

We think that we got a real good deal with our trade in.
I suspect that Winnebago may have thrown in some incentives.

Solei Update

I have been looking at the Solei and appreciated reading your initial impressions. Have you had any further thoughts the unit. Also curious about how much they discounted on the list price. Thanks.

So far so good. We have had a few problems, but nothing too significant. I'm sure that these will be taken care of under the warranty.

As far as the discount, I'm sure that we got a GNR discount and I suspect that Winnebago kicked in some additional discount to get the initial sales going.
