I'm an audio guy. The Jensen head units are the best you can get for $79.95. Their claim to fame is that have some of the features integrated into them that are nice-to-haves by MH owners. If your Jensen has built-in Bluetooth, you could buy a Bluetooth adapter for your TV and accomplish what you want. But it's likely your speakers are not in a good place either.

If you've upgraded your video, buy yourself a sound bar. They come in a gazillion models/prices and you can hear a bunch of them at Best buy before your lay out your dough.

I purchased a Marantz 1604 Slim Line Receiver/Amp and it fit in the space directly above the electric simulated fireplace and directly below the Flat Panel TV. Hooked it in the the already-installed-Surround sound speakers. Also installed a Sony HD BluRay Player. I'm the envoy of the RV Resort.
I have done the same, but changed all the speakers to paradigm as they were low impedance (3 ohm) from the original cheap home theater in a box system .Also installed an active sub. Motorhome is now a great home theater,

Our MH has a Bose surround sound system with a 2,000W amplifier below the dash. I'm going to look into that Jensen system since the Bose has some brand specific things about it that are obsolete. May have to get a grandson to install it though, this old dog is too old to learn something new.

Can you tell me a little about how/where you placed the speakers and how you did the wiring? I'd like to remove the two speakers above the bed in my Thor which are considered the "rear speakers" and use that wiring for two better-located speakers maybe amidship. I have no idea how to get the wiring there, however.

I'm sorry I can't help. The Bose system was part of the Ultimate Freedom entertainment package. I don't understand it myself. A sound technician attempted to explain it last spring, but he stopped when I got the deer in the headlights look.
I've even contemplated one of the wireless sound systems.
